Equitable Compensation

In this session, we will discuss the typical organizational journey around compensation and how pay equity comes into play at each stage. Participants will learn about equitable compensation across the organizational lifecycle, specific compensation tensions that arise at each stage and the opportunities and interventions that leaders might consider to make their compensation choices more equitable. In addition, participants will learn how their personal biases might get in the way, how to align compensation with organizational values and culture, and steps to shift toward a risk leadership stance. We will close with a discussion on what experiments are happening in the field around equitable compensation.
Which Organizational Structures Will You Thrive In?

In this session, Ananda opened up a conversation on liberative organizational structures. In this hands-on session, you will have the opportunity to self-assess your own organizational culture and structure desires and learn about a whole spectrum of different organizational structures. By the end, participants will know the terminology for different organizational structures, understand which structures and cultures best fit your organization, and learn strategies for changing your overall organizational structure and culture. Better Together: Sustainable Network Development

In this session, we discussed network building through an interactive discussion on developing and sustaining collaborative networks. The discussion was framed around developing a collaborative Accelerator peer network. Participants considered their personal, professional, and organizational assets to better identify opportunities for partnerships and network building among Accelerator grantees. Participants also learned general network-building concepts and practices for application within their organization. Presented by Ashlee Weaver, AI Coach and Director of Youth Services at VOICES Corporation.
The Power of Lived Experience in Nonprofit Leadership

We continue to discuss facilitative leadership with a focus on Leading with Lived Expertise. This conversation covers the importance of leadership from folks with lived expertise. The scope will include special considerations and strategies to leverage lived experience, critical analysis, and theory on disability justice, as well as practices to inspire new leaders. Co-presented by Kassandra Botts (independent consultant) and Nick Voyles (Indiana Recovery Alliance), co-developers of the Leading with Lived Experience consulting program.
Facilitative Leadership
