What We Do
ShipHappens was founded on agile infrastructure and innovative platform to provide harm reduction service access to people with substance use disorder. In providing mail-based intermuscular naloxone and safe use supply distribution, we are able to draw in unique and returning Hoosier participants to a web based platform where they are provided free online training in opioid overdose recognition and response, free "needs based" naloxone, and free shipping; we also provide free shipping of safe use supplies upon request.

Our Implementation Grant Priorities
This opportunity allows us to shore up our foundation and prepare for the increased capacity needs of program development in the future. The development of the above infrastructure will create space for further realizing two of ShipHappens’ values; equitable participant engagement and fair compensation of volunteers and secondary distributors. We intend to use research and development of an innovative secondary distribution compensation model and documented use of metadata aimed at increasing services to marginalized populations as tools to further these goals.
